Konell Construction and Demolition, located in Sandy, Oregon is a truly green company, dedicated to excellence on the job site and taking recycling to the next level. Unlike most companies, who are struggling to get up to speed and “go green” Konell has been green since its inception. It all started twenty-eight years ago, with a dream and a Cat 955 Track Loader with a four-in-one bucket.

Today, Konell Construction and Demolition operates with a huge fleet of machinery (including Steve Konell’s original Cat Loader) and about 45 regular employees, often managing as many as fifteen jobs at once. Currently, we’re working on the Oregon State Hospital renovation, our biggest contract to date: a three-year project on a 118 acre site. Click here to view current progress on the hospital.

Konell Construction is revolutionizing the industry and setting new standards in green construction and demolition practices. We recycle almost 100 percent of the concrete and asphalt from our demolition projects for use as fill on other jobsites, saving clients money and helping the environment in the process by keeping the waste out of the landfills.
